More shameless self-promotion.
Quick and dirty AGoS Moran/Watson fic, in which a vengeful Moran seeks out Watson.
(With elements of implied past Moriarty/Moran and quite possibly Holmes/Watson. Also mentions of Watson/Mary Watson)
*warnings: spoilers for AGoS; sex; some violence; angst. Rated mature.*

This is a quote about Holmes but... (maybe slight...
“It was worth a wound; it was worth many wounds; to know the depth of loyalty and love which lay behind that cold mask. The clear, hard eyes were dimmed for a moment, and the firm lips were shaking. For the one and only time I caught a glimpse of a great heart as well as of a great brain.” (from The Adventure of the Three Garridebs)
I keep thinking of Moran now in relation to this,...

In Which I Review a Film about Colonel Sebastian... →
bisforbakerstreet:
… If I’m to be honest, however, it was the beardy, intense Colonel Sebastian Moran who stole the show for me. As far as villains go, Colonel Moran often gets overlooked, but I find him intriguing. What is it that drives him to play cat-and-mouse with Holmes even after Moriarty has been vanquished? In the film, when you see Moran with a bullet in his abdomen, struggling to...

Fanfic: Running is something that we've always...
Shameless self-promotion here.
But I wrote a fic about Moran (with Moriarty/Moran and past Moran/Watson) based around Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows (one or two scenes in particular). We’ll call it… dark romance, I suppose. I’ve not written these versions of the characters before so it remains to be seen whether I’ve got them right or not.
Can be read here.
**Spoiler...

So, saw Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows tonight
Anderson!Moran. *__*
So obviously I love Sebastian Moran. I fell in love with him in canon some time ago and now I absolutely love Paul Anderson’s Moran too. He’d been on screen for about a second and it already confirmed my suspicions that I adore him.
Cut for spoilers and rambling. (Also with some thoughts on Moriarty.)
I love that he’s not exactly pretty. I think...

This is a somewhat personal post, I know, but eh, whatever; it’s still relevant. If you’ve seen Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows already and thus have seen Paul Anderson’s Moran for more than the few seconds he’s in the trailer, I am so ridiculously jealous right now I don’t even have words to express my jealousy.

(Which I found slightly odd since I’d written a nearly identical line about Moran in my own fiction the day before I read this story.)
