Moran reminds me of one of those dogs that finds people under the rubble after earthquakes and things, except that he’s really really pissed off.
Ritchie!verse with elements of book canon. Moriarty/Moran. PG. Approx. 2,660 words. Warnings: references to a consensual D/s relationship; implied past abuse by another character. Summary: the worst of Moran’s scars are not on his body but in his mind.

I’m bored with this now so let’s call it done.
It’s not even remotely what I was intending to draw, nor am I entirely sure still what they’re actually doing (I have one or two ideas *coughs* but then it could be just them snuggling together), but never mind.
I think the way Moran keeps watching everyone in this scene is interesting. It does seem to show his assassin’s paranoia about everyone who comes near him, even in a setting that should be perfectly safe. Also that he’s mistrustful of everyone who goes near the professor specifically, because he is so protective of him (also there might well be some jealousy there too).

Summary: Holmes may not be quite correct in his claims about Moriarty and Moran.

Something that has long intrigued me about Sebastian Moran is that he seems to be a complex and contradictory character, and I think this has become even more evident in his portrayal in Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows.
