ForAllLove submitted: This is the only place I’ve posted this (open for recommendations), as it’s the only nice Victorian-Moran place I’ve found thus far (again, recommendations), so! As thanks for the fun I’ve been having in the archives here, and because some of you are sad there isn’t more Moriarty-and-Moran available, I bring you this gift: foralllove.livejournal.com/6977.html Wherein I will write drabbles for anyone who stops by! Details (and many more words) lie beyond that link. Have some fun, get a gift (maybe even write something yourself?), and help me dive into writing this pair! - ForAllLove

The File on Colonel Moran - Volume One: The Lure of Moriarty by Vernon Mealor.
A good portrayal of Moran, who initially gets the better of Moriarty before he ends up in his employment.

This is either still a WIP or in the ‘forever unfinished’ category, I’m not sure which.
(Background screencapped from AGoS; the rest was airbrushed/drawn.)
Indeed, Moran was a professional cheat, a sharper of more than ordinary dimensions - a macer, in criminal parlance. Second only to shooting, he had made card sharping a life’s work
from The Return of Moriarty by John Gardner.
(Moran is portrayed very badly in this story but there are a few interesting lines about him.)
Moriarty and Moran by skylord1015
Moran reminds me of one of those dogs that finds people under the rubble after earthquakes and things, except that he’s really really pissed off.
Ritchie!verse with elements of book canon. Moriarty/Moran. PG. Approx. 2,660 words. Warnings: references to a consensual D/s relationship; implied past abuse by another character. Summary: the worst of Moran’s scars are not on his body but in his mind.
I’m bored with this now so let’s call it done.
It’s not even remotely what I was intending to draw, nor am I entirely sure still what they’re actually doing (I have one or two ideas *coughs* but then it could be just them snuggling together), but never mind.
I think the way Moran keeps watching everyone in this scene is interesting. It does seem to show his assassin’s paranoia about everyone who comes near him, even in a setting that should be perfectly safe. Also that he’s mistrustful of everyone who goes near the professor specifically, because he is so protective of him (also there might well be some jealousy there too).
Just over 700 words; Sebastian Moran/James Moriarty; Ritchie!verse with elements of canon; rated R to be safe; contains sexual elements but nothing graphic.
Summary: Holmes may not be quite correct in his claims about Moriarty and Moran.
